Welcome to the website of the SC&I Alumni Association.

The SC&I Alumni Association is dedicated to ehancing and enriching the SC&I Community of students, faculty, staff, and, of course, alumni.

We award $1,000 academic scholarships for outstanding student achievement in Communication Studies, Journalism and Media Studies, Information Technology and Informatics, the Masters Program in Library and Information Science (MLIS), and the Masters Program in Communication and Information Studies (MCIS).

The SC&I Alumni Association hosts the refreshments provided after the SC&I Convocation ceremonies each May and provides a an annual class gift honoring all SC&I graduates. We also play an active role in the planning and hosting of major school events, such as the SC&I 25th anniversary celebrations and the Annual Alumni Dinner for all SC&I alumni.

We support and help to plan the "SC&I Bowl," a knowledge competition involving SC&I faculty, administrators, students, and alumni."

We select and honor a Distinguished Alumni Award recipient each year. In 2007, we honored Dr. Concetta Stewart (SC&I PhD, 1989), Dean of the School of Communications and Theater at Temple University.
