::: Workshop: Applying for External Funding/Fellowships :::

WHO: Teresa M. Delcorso, Assistant Dean, Resource Center for Graduate Student External Support
This two-hour workshop is intended for those who plan to apply for external funding and/or fellowships to support their dissertation research. Mrs. Delcorso will cover topics such as how to write a successful proposal, how to apply to major funders, such as the Social Science Research Council, NSF, and Fulbright, how to develop budget, and other resources for seeking external funding.

A must attend event for PhD students! Get the perspective of those who have taken their quals and hear stories from the trenches, including preparation tips, what-not-to-do stories, survival stories, etc.
