New Applications Accepted The Department of Communication is currently accepting applications for Lambda Pi Eta , the communication honor society of the National Communication Association. Lambda Pi Eta serves as a basis for academic and professional growth, in addition to recognizing student excellence within the Communication Department. Further, Lambda Pi Eta will provide access to opportunities in which students can supplement classroom material by actively participating in events and activities. Students are encouraged to explore and discuss areas of interests and present findings in a formal setting. Eligible candidates must: • Be a communication major • Have completed at least 60 credits (overall) • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 • Have a communication GPA of 3.25 If you meet these criteria, please submit a typed cover sheet with your name, anticipated month/year of graduation, Rutgers email address, and attach a copy of your most current transcript.

In July I participated in the Conversion Analysis Master Class on conversational repair held at the University of York (UK), organized by the Feminist CA Unit . It included fourteen participants from three countries and was co-taught by Gene Lerner (UC Santa Barbara) and Celia Kitzinger (University of York, UK). A group project that emerged out of this class will be developed collaboratively over the coming months.
