For me, March is largely about basketball...watching my son's 7th grade team win their regular season, going to Las Vegas to join friends and watch the Mountain West Conference tourney for the third year in a row, and running our SC&I brackets for the men's NCAA tourney. If I add in the other bracket challenges in which I'm participating, my own efforts to shoot hoops 3 times per week, and following my favorite team (the Denver Nuggets, who are on a 13-game winning streak right now), it is a bit crazy. But this March is filled with a new type of madness. Now that my new book ( Anonymous Agencies, Backstreet Businesses, and Covert Collectives: Rethinking Organizations in the 21st Century ) is out, I find myself still busy trying to help with efforts to announce the book and otherwise market it to relevant audiences.

Try ‘Flipping’ Your Classroom!” Description: As an instructor, are you interested in finding ways to increase student engagement in the classroom? “Flipping the classroom” offers one solution towards this goal, which is based on the idea of shifting in-class lectures (and supporting resources) out-of-class to an online delivery (e.g., eCollege or Sakai) to allow time for in-class activities where students can interact with the instructor and each other on a specific activity or project.
