The Rutgers Distributed Laboratory for Digital Libraries | ||
|
|||
We intend to create an interdisciplinary environment in which faculty and graduate students work together to address fundamental research issues, and educational issues arising from, contributing to, or in any other way intellectually relevant to the development, understanding and implementation of Digital Libraries.
Involvement as a faculty member in the RDLDL entails (1) a willingness to work with other faculty in the development and carrying out of research projects contributing to our mission (2) participation in the graduate level seminar to be initiated in Spring 1999, and (3) taking on, from time to time, some tiresome chore essential to the success of the Lab.
You can learn more about the Lab by contacting members of the steering group who are charged with managing the budget that the University has awarded to us, for the 1998-1999 academic year year.
If you are a member of the rutgers Faculty, interested in joining us, , please send a brief letter inidicating the nature of your interest in Digital Libraries, with a pointer to additional details about your work.
