Cairo Marriott Hotel – Zamalek
Cairo, Egypt.

GMR 2009 will be hosted by the International Executive Education Institute (IEEI) of the School of Business, Economics and Communication at the American University in Cairo (AUC). IEEI aims to be the leading regional platform for world class executive education and networking. Partnering with the world’s top business schools and academic gurus, IEEI provides a unique learning experience at the AUC’s new state-of-the-art campus.

GMR is an annual, international event, which brings together experts and decision-makers from industry, academia and policy-making agencies. The conference provides an opportunity to build and support sustainable international networks of researchers and practitioners working in the mobile communications and wireless data industry. It also aims to enable the exchange of knowledge about best practices in this industry and facilitate communication and collaboration among global players.

The first Mobility Roundtable was held in 2002 in Tokyo. Over the years, the GMR has also been hosted in Stockholm (Sweden), Texas (USA), Hong Kong (China), Helsinki (Finland), Los Angeles (USA) and Auckland (New Zealand). In November 2009, the GMR will be held in Cairo, Egypt and hosted by the International Executive Education Institute (IEEI) of the American University in Cairo (AUC). IEEI provides a unique learning experience at AUC’s new state-of-the-art campus. Recognizing that executive education has become a necessary milestone in the career paths of corporate leaders and CEOs worldwide, IEEI provides intellectual stimulation and innovative knowledge in an academic setting together with valuable networking among business leaders.
