Description: Required of all students during a fall or spring term late in their program of study. Students must attend at least three offerings. No credit given.
A series of lectures with discussions, featuring guest speakers, that highlight current and recurring issues and introduce students to leaders in the field.
Synopsis: Course Objectives Students will gain awareness of important issues in professional practice, especially as they relate to ethical and policy issues. Organization of the Course Four colloquia; dates and speakers to be announced at the beginning of each semester. Major Assignments None. Methods of Assessment None; but attendance is required to fulfill degree requirements. A pass/fail grade will be assigned based on attendance. A "pass" grade requires attendance at a minimum of three colloquia.
