Fifteen years after his graduation, Arturo Pardavila III returns to his alma mater as a part-time lecturer.

Pardavila has worked at MLB.com since March 14, 2001, after a short stint at The New York Times' Web site. He was promoted to the position of Night Copy Chief after the 2001 campaign. In 2006, he was named Associate Director of Editorial.

A life-long resident of New Jersey, Pardavila graduated from Rutgers College in 1995 with degrees in Journalism and Political Science.

After Rutgers, Pardavila worked as a reporter at The Jersey Journal before embarking on a career in online publishing. Pardavila spent five years at New Jersey Online, then worked at various other sites before joining The New York Times in 2000.
