Before coming to SC&I as an Instructional Design and Technology Specialist, Denise was:

  • Faculty Instructional Designer in the Virtual College at Mercer County Community College working with faculty to design and develop web-enhanced, hybrid, and fully online courses using learning management systems and related instructional technology integrated into the curriculum, as well as developing and conducting training programs and workshops for faculty and staff professional development in areas of teaching and learning.
  • Instructional Designer in Instructional Technology Services at Monmouth University working with faculty to design and develop web-enhanced, hybrid, and fully online courses using a learning management system and related instructional technology integrated into the curriculum, as well as developing and conducting training programs, seminars, and workshops for faculty in areas of teaching and learning.
  • Instructional Designer Liaison to the University Library and School of Education at Monmouth University and the College Library at Mercer County Community College, working closely with the director, department chairs, and faculty on teacher education courses and information literacy programs.
  • Part-time instructor at Mercer County Community College and Monmouth University teaching Introduction to Education and English Composition I courses.
  • School Library Media Specialist at Colts Neck Township, NJ school district.
