Dr. Edward Tenner is an independent writer, speaker, and consultant on technology and culture. His book Why Things Bite Back: Technology and the Revenge of Unintended Consequences has been an international bestseller. His most recent book is Our Own Devices: The Past and Future of Body Technology.

Dr. Tenner  is a Visiting Scholar at the School of Communication and Information for the 2009-10 year.    He will be working with the Center for Mobile Communication  Studies (http://comminfo.rutgers.edu/ci/cmcs/)
