Zhe Li entered the SC&I Ph.D. program in 2007. She received a B.A. in Journalism in Communication University of China (originally named as Beijing Broadcasting Institute), and a M.A. in Communication in Fudan University. From Oct. 2004 to May 2005, she participated in “Consumer Behavior Study in China Mainland”¯ Project in Shanghai, which is conducted by Research Center for Information & Communication of Fudan University and Mindshare (China). From June 2005 to Feb. 2006, she participated in “Governmental Image Communication of Pudong New Area Government”¯ Project in Shanghai, which is conducted by Research Center for Information & Communication of Fudan University (RCIC) and Pudong New Area Government (Pudong New Area in Shanghai is the special economic zone of China). In this project, she was responsible for an important part: organizational communication within the government. Zhe also had an internship in China National Radio during her undergraduate study. She is now working as a Teaching Assistant in Communication Department in Rutgers University.
