Tom Christopoul is chairman and chief executive officer of Cendant's Financial Services Division which includes Jackson-Hewitt Tax Services,  Cendant International Membership Services (cims) and  the Cendant Marketing Group which is comprised of Progeny Marketing Innovations and Trilegiant Corporation .

Prior to this role, Christopoul was senior executive vice president and chief administrative officer of Cendant Corporation where he was responsible for various corporate staff functions of the company on a global basis, including human resources, marketing, business development, information technology, telecommunications, corporate real estate, facilities, relationship management, purchasing and call center operations. While in that role, he was also management representative to Cendant's compensation and policy committees of its board of directors and was chairman of the Company's Employee Benefits Committee. He is also currently vice-chairman of the Cendant Charitable Foundation.

Previously, Christopoul was president of Cendant Membership Services; executive vice president, corporate services, executive vice president, human resources; and senior vice president, human resources. He was also vice president of human resources of Cendant's predecessor company HFS, Incorporated. Before joining HFS in 1995, Christopoul directed labor and employee relations for the Nabisco Biscuit Company, a unit of RJR-Nabisco Holdings, Inc. He was formerly the division human resource manager for the refrigerated foods division of Nabisco.

Before joining Nabisco,  Christopoul worked for several years at the Pepsi-Cola Company within the human resources function.  

Christopoul was formerly a member of the board of directors of Netmarket Group, Inc. where he served as chairman of its compensation committee, and formerly on the board of directors of One-to-One Dynamics, Inc (Hagglezone.com) He currently serves on the board of directors of Manhattan Theater Source, a not-for-profit professional theater organization in New York City and is a member of the board of advisors of the September 11th Children's Fund.

Mr. Christopoul holds a bachelor's degree (BA) in communication from Rutgers University and a master of science (MS) degree in organizational communication from Purdue University .
