Gloria Dinerman
Founder and President of The Library Co-Op, Inc.
Since 1982, Gloria Dinerman has been founder and president of The Library Co-Op, Inc., a full service library consultant corporation specifically established for staffing, automation and special projects for all types of libraries. It is headquartered in Edison, NJ with satellite office in New York City.
Throughout the years Gloria has held many offices including international representative for IFLA, chair of the library management division of Special Library Association, eleven years on the Board of ALTA and New Jersey Librarian of the year in 1996. She received her library degree from Rutgers and her undergraduate degree from Brown.
Her specialties are management, personnel allocation and departmental coordination, library design and space planning. Gloria has written extensively for various library publications including the library encyclopedia published by Marcel Dekkar. She has also lectured in Thailand, Turkey, London, and Stockholm.
Gloria is currently serving on the faculty advisory board of Pratt Institute and on the Executive Board of the New York Library Club.
Prior to her library career, she was employed by the State of New Jersey as an investment advisor to municipalities and school boards and before that she was Director of Training for the prestigious L.F. Rothschild brokerage firm.
