InforM's Women's Studies Database One of very best women's studies data bases at the University of Maryland. Note the syllabi, reading room and reference room. Particularly fine coverage of suffrage women in the reading room.

WomensNet It supports women's organizations worldwide by providing and adapting telecommunications technology to enhance their work.

Feminist Majority Online will offer a comprehensive array of information on all aspects of women's issues. It includes a feminist faculty database.

National Organization for Women Contains a very large number of links to other sources including papers on issues of concern to women.

American Association of University Women Excellent information of grants, awards, fellowships as well as excellent resources.

Voices of Women Home Page Powerful directory to all kinds of sites relating to women. Great for networking to women's services, including health informatin.

Feminists for Free Expression This group work "to preserve the individual's right and responsibility to read, listen, via marketing, finance, government and technology."

University of Wisconsin System Women's Studies Librarian's Office This is an excellent bibliographical site with highly specialized bibliographies from feminist perspectives.

The Yellow Wallpaper Site This website includes detailed information on Gilman's work with access to the complete text as well as student/other discussions. Designed by students in American Literature classes.

FeMiNa Femina was created in September of 1995 and debuted online to provide women with a comprehensive, searchable directory of links to female friendly sites and information on the WorldWide Web.

Beijing'95 Women, Power and Change Although completed, this site provides detailed information of the 4th World Conference on Women. Excellent links to complete documents as well as other sources.

Women Writers Project The Women Writers Project is creating a textbase of women's writing in English between 1330 and 1830. An example of textual database work.

The Emma Goodman Papers Since 1980, the Emma Goldman Papers Project has collected, organized, and edited tens of thousands of documents by and about Goldman from around the world. Excellent resource and use oif digitalization.

Gender-Related Electronic Forums Created and maintained by Joan Korenman who is the moderator of the Women's Studies Listserv. This site provides a detailed list of electronic forums related to women's and gender issues.

Women's Studies/Women's Issues Resources Sites Created and maintained by Joan Korenman here is a somewhat selective, alphabetical listing of World Wide Web sites containing resources and information about women's studies/women's issues, with an emphasis on sites of particular use to an academic women's studies program.

Women Artists Archives Located at the library at Sonoma State University. Contains information on over 1000 women from the Middle Ages to the Present. It is not fully completed yet.

Feminist Science Fiction, Fantasy and Utopias Maintained by Laura. One of the best websites with an excellent selection of resources. The information on authors is above average and it is frequently updated.

Yahoo Social Science Women's Studies Provides a list of exciting links to other women's links.

Feminist Activist Resources on the Net Guide that is particularly oriented to connecting feminists who are activists to resources on the Internet that could be useful. This site has excellent index.

A Celebration of Women Writers This site contains links to information about women writers as well as actual texts and recordings. Alphbetical arrangement.

Feminism and Women's Studies A long list of links to other sites and gophers. This page publishes women's studies and feminist works, particularly focusing on issues of sex, gender, sexual identity and sexuality in cultural practices.
