Ann McGovern has been scuba diving for more than 25 years. She's dived with
sharks in Australia in the Red Sea, South America, and the Indian Ocean. She's
dived with poisonous sea snakes, lion fish, and swam with giant whale sharks.
She's dived on the Great Barrier Reef and explored shipwrecks all over the world.
She's made many night dives and was the first American diver to dive in China,
along with her friend, Shark Lady Eugenie Clark. She writes books about her
adventures in the underwater world and the fascinating creatures she meets on
coral reefs.
