Youth Literature Online Certificate Program Instructors

Kay E. Vandergrift, professor of library and information science at Rutgers, is director of this certificate program. Dr. Vandergrift has an international reputation as a expert in children's literature and she is an award-winning webmaster. Her homepage includes links to the hundreds of web resources she has created.

Michael Joseph's day job is as rare book and Jerseyana catalog librarian at Rutgers University, but his other loves are children's literature and book arts. He serves as associate director of this certificate program. Dr. Joseph is founder and moderator of the child_lit listserv and a columnist for IBBY's quarterly journal on international children's literature. GraceAnne A. DeCandido, former editor of Wilson Library Bulletin, is currently a writer, editor, consultant, and children's book reviewer. Check her homepage to see what she's currently reading.

Monica Edinger is a teacher at The Dalton School and author of professional books for teachers, including Using Beloved Classics to Deepen Reading Comprehension.

Roxanne Feldman is middle school librarian at The Dalton School. She is publisher of the Fairrosa Cyber Library of Children's Literature website.

Enola Romano is Information Specialist at the Montclair (NJ) Public Library.

Constance Vidor is librarian at The Cathedral School in New York City.
