News
November 10, 2010: Excited about CSCW 2011 in Hangzhou, China! The paper I co-authored with Dr. Leysia Palen and Dr. Randall Burd on Coordinating Time-Critical Work with Role-Tagging got accepted!
November 2, 2010: Our panel on Assessing the Practical Impact of Healthcare Research got accepted to the iConference 2011. Congratulations to my co-authors, Sharoda Paul, Brian Hilligoss and Peter Scupelli! See you all in Seattle!
June 23, 2010: Our paper on the effects of size and location of vital signs monitors on trauma teamwork got accepted to AMIA 2010 to be held in Washington, DC.
June 3, 2010: I joined the connectivIT lab directed by Dr. Leysia Palen at University of Colorado, Boulder as a Visiting Assistant Professor. I look forward to working with this awesome group of researchers and to an exciting year in Boulder!
April 19, 2010: I've been accepted to the 3rd meeting of the Summer Institute for the Consortium for the Science of Socio-Technical Systems.
December 15, 2009: Full paper on documentation practices in trauma resuscitation got accepted to CHI 2010 to be held in Atlanta, GA.
December 7, 2009: Our research project got a bit of local, media coverage! The story appeared in Rutgers' Daily Targum.
December 1, 2009: I started a six-month field study at Children's National Medical Center, Washington, DC.
September 21, 2009: Our NSF proposal entitled "Assessing Technology Requirements For Preventing Teamwork Errors in Safety-Critical Settings" got awarded. See Award Abstract. Collaborative research with CNMC and UMDNJ.
August 28, 2009: I successfully defended my dissertation entitled "Understanding Teamwork in Trauma Resuscitation Through an Analysis of Team Errors." Thank you to my dissertation committee: Michael Lesk (advisor/chair), Marilyn Tremaine, Jeffrey Robinson and James Lin!
