ACTION RESEARCH

Action Research is a transformative experience that enables library media specialists to lead their schools in learning and teaching with tools of evidence-based practice.  Media specialists who participated in a study of a 3-dimensional model that incorporates authentic assessment were empowered to move action research from the media center to the classroom.  "This project pushed me to see my role as a 'leader' and helped me to see that I will be making a difference in the world of students with whom I work.  also, students will influence me to find new and better ways to do things."
