Bi-lingual Art History Database Design, research contract sponsored by the J. Paul Getty Trust's Art History Information Program and the French Centre National de la Recherche Scientific, 1985-86. Design of a computer mediated bilingual bibliographic database for art history which provides a structure for and definition of the knowledge represented in the literature of art history, and, by means of a matrix of fundamental facets and roles, can, with specialized algorithms, generate classified arrays and alphabetical contextual indexes in both French and English. $65,000 plus all living and travel expenses for work in Williamstown, MA and Paris, France.
