Since 1990, Taiwanese Government will hold the Lantern Display in Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall Plaza. Every year, there will have a main lantern which symbolizes the sign of the animal ( Zoniac ). For example this year is "Tiger", so the main lantern and others lanterns displayed on the plaza was about the "Tiger". High schools, elementary schools, business companies, airline companies, hotel will join this festival, show their best lanterns and do some commerical work. This Lantern festival always attracts many foreign people and local people.
