This is old sheet music titled Gloria in Excelsis. This was an ancient hymn sung as an ordinary chant of the Mass. At Christ Church, this music was played after the Psalter. |

A service for Stainer was given on April 30th, 1899. Click on the images to see the words the choir sung during the service. George W. Wilmot was the choir director at the time. What is interesting to note is that J. E. Riley is listed as the organist. This individual is not listed on Mr. Trautman's incomplete list of Parish Musiscians. |

The images lead to pages from the program of an operetta titled "The Missing Duke". This operetta was performed by the choir boys of the church on June 1st, 1906. George W. Wilmot was the musical director for this performance. He was choirmaster from 1885-1930. George N. Nuttman is listed as the pianist for the performance. He is listed on Mr. Trautman's incomplete list as George W. Nuttman, an organist, from 1913?-1920 and 1924-1928. |
