Weeks 8, 9: Nineteenth Century: Rites of Passage, or, Innocents Abroad: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

Weeks 10, 11: Cupid and Psyche in Modern Dress: Till We Have Faces, by C.S. Lewis (with more contemporary retellings by Diane Orgell and K.Y. Craft).

Weeks 12-13: Cupid and Psyche Undercover: How the myth self-consciously underwrites contemporary fiction: Rose Daughter, by Robin McKinley.

Week 14: Review: Reflections on "Cupid and Psyche."
