To assist with fund-raising and publicity the expedition will be well-covered in the media. It is also intended that publicity posters and donation boxes will be placed in a chain of well known supermarkets throughout Scotland, for approximately six months. This has three aims:

YOUR COMPANY would obviously receive valuable publicity from a number of sources. Large posters advertising Scotland's Alternative Skiers, and displaying your company logo will be placed in stores throughout Scotland. National and regional newspapers will be informed of the event (The Scotsman, Glasgow Herald, Yorkshire Post, Press and Journal etc.), and radio and television coverage is expected, by BBC Radio Scotland for example and by the independent company Chameleon Television, who work with ITV. We plan to publish articles about the expedition in the SAS Newsletter, CTC magazine, 'High', National Geographic and other outdoor / cycling magazines. Slide shows / presentations will also be given to sponsors, funding groups, Aberdeen, Robert Gordon and Stratchclyde Universities and any other interested parties. These slide shows will be an important part of continuing the fund-raising for SAS once we have returned. At all times, the support of YOUR COMPANY will be acknowledged.
