London-
Great place for site seeing and shopping, but the dollars is not
worth as much there as it is in the U.S.
Freeport,
Bahamas- I go every year! Nice if you want to relax on the beach or
gamble in a casino. But there isn't much nightlife.
Nassau is more lively.
St.
Maarten- My native island has both a Dutch and French
side. The beautiful nude beaches and mountains are just the
beginning. Now there are casinos, shopping, dance clubs, and water
sports.
Aruba-
Not my favorite island. The beaches are nice, but the wind
makes sitting on them unbearable. But for some, the breeze is
refreshing while sitting in the hot sun.
Cancun,
Mexico- The night life and the bars are great. Some like the
bullfights on Sundays, but I thought they were too violent and
cruel. But it is necessary to watch the food, and the beggars
can be overwhelming.
St.
Thomas- The harbor is delightful when the sun is sparkling on
the water and the boats are scattered about. The shopping is
great, especially for alcohol and jewelry.
Antigua-
The Club Med beach was nice and very clean. The rest of the
island, however, was run down and dirty.
Thailand-
"Critique available in June."
Bermuda-
