610:501 Introduction to Library and Information Professions: What's Where - LIS: Information Distribution

Inter-campus and departmental mail addressed to specific MLIS students will be distributed in alphabetic mail slots located on the third floor of SC&I between Rooms 302 and 303. The boxes are grouped by the first letter of your last name. Some faculty use these boxes to return graded assignments. These boxes should not be used for U.S. mail. The University Post Office and student mailboxes are in Records Hall. All students who wish to receive regular mail on campus can apply for a University Postbox in Records Hall. There is a U.S. Post Office outlet in Records Hall, and stamps are available at most student centers.

Outside the student services office, Room 214, there is a literature distribution rack and between 214 and 212 there is a table with flyers and announcements. Even though most of what you need to know will reach you through the LISSA listserv, you should check to see what is being distributed.
