a little bit about me:

I am an Assistant Professor at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile (USACH). I received my Ph.D from Rutgers University and my Master from USACH. I am also a Computer Engineer and a Fulbright scholar.

I was born in Santiago, Chile. In 2009 I moved to the US. First, I lived in Irvine, CA while studying English at University of California, Irvine (UCI). Then I lived in Highland Park and New Brunswick in NJ during my Ph.D. studies at Rutgers University.

My research interests are: Information Seeking, Collaborative Information Seeking, Affective Computing, Human Computer Interaction, Information Retrieval, and Computer Supported Cooperative Work.
