The Special Libraries Association (SLA) is an international professional association that represents information resource experts. SLA has nearly 15,000 members who work in special libraries serving business, research, government, universities, newspapers, museums and institutions that use or produce specialized information.

The SLA Student Group at Rutgers University (RUSLA) plans programs and trips to broaden our experiences, augment our qualifications, and better understand our professional goals. SLA membership serves as an excellent résumé enhancement. Meetings are monthly, time commitment is minimal, and we have a lot of fun. Please come see what we are about!

Become a Mentor or Mentee - Information about an SLA program designed to match students with information professionals willing to provide various types of career assistance, including resume reviewing and shadowing for a day.
