Dongho Choi is a Ph.D. candidate in Library & Information Science at Rutgers School of Communication and Information. He is interested in human information behavior, human information interaction, cognitive science, and data science. More specifically, his dissertation work examines individuals’ information searching behavior in online and physical spaces, investigating the information exploratory behavior in different contexts. Choi's dissertation advisor is Chirag Shah.

Prior to joining the Ph.D. program at SC&I, he received a B.E. degree in electrical engineering and computer science (EECS), and the Bachelor of Business Administration from the Seoul National University in 2004. He also received a M.S. degree in electrical engineering and computer science in 2006 and completed the M.A. program in Economics in 2012 at the Seoul National University. He has worked at various places, such as Samsung Electronics, research institutes, consulting firms, IT start-ups, and programming teaching centers.
