Sophia Jones has earned a Doctorate in the Philosophy of Health Sciences from Seton Hall University. She has years of experience working as a leader within the Division of Children and Families Children’s System of Care. She has aided non-profit and for-profit organizations as well as state institutions on effective programs, services, and system changes centered around cultural competence, health equity, and access to resources.
Jones is a leader within the field of health and human services. She has collaborated with system partners within the state of New Jersey centered around the mental and physical healthcare needs of all families especially those youth and families diagnosed with a mental illness. Jones continues to advocate for health equity and equal access to healthcare services.
