Susan Raitman proudly joined the Student Services Team in 2019. She is an enthusiastic and dedicated advisor who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the School of Communication and Information. She takes pride in helping students discover their academic and personal goals. Raitman's experience has helped shape the way she approaches academic advising and enjoys being part of the journey her advisees go through during these vital college years.

Prior to working at SC&I, she was an undergraduate advisor for Rutgers Statewide, specifically working with incoming transfer students from New Jersey Community Colleges. She has also worked at other universities and community colleges in the state. Outside of advising, Raitman is an instructor for the Students in Transition course which is specific for incoming Rutgers SAS students. She is also a proud member of NACADA, the Global Community for Academic Advising, and attends as many professional development opportunities as possible to help support her growth as an advisor.
