Fanny A. Ramirez is a Ph.D. Candidate in Communication with a research emphasis in Communication and Technology.
Her research is twofold: She examines (a) the uses and affordances of information communication technologies (ICTs) for different branches of the criminal justice system and how these practices affect disadvantaged populations, and (b) the social and cultural significance of videogames and virtual worlds.
