Vision 2020:  Communicating Clarity and Transparency-24th Annual Conference

Join us on March 28, 2020, at Rutgers University in New Brunswick as we explore the themes of clarity and transparency in all communication forms. We welcome academic papers, posters, thematic presentation panels, conversation circles, hands-on workshops and demonstrations, and, of course, fun and games of any creative sort. The NJCA values participation of undergraduate and graduate students, faculty scholars, and practitioners whose ideas and applications span wide-ranging topics and contexts of communication.

Keynote speaker is Juan D. González, the Richard D. Heffner Professor of Communications and Public Policy and Professor of Professional Practice, Journalism and Media Studies.

Juan D. González is an award-winning broadcast journalist and investigative reporter. A two-time winner of the George Polk Award, he is co-host of Democracy Now!, author of “Harvest of Empire: A History of Latinos in America,” and a founder of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. He spent 29 years as a columnist for the New York Daily News.
