Public Relations Certificate

What qualifications should I have for this certificate program?

No previous college experience is required to enroll. The certificate is a foundational certificate for those moving into an organizational communication role.  Courses within this certificate are non-credit.

What are the requirements and program format?

Each asynchronous course allows you to learn on your schedule across the four-week timeframe of the course.  Each course follows a structured program outline regarding weekly assignment due dates. Refer to your Public Relations Certificate Roadmap for each course's start and end dates.

What are the program fees, and am I eligible for a discount?

Each course costs $795 for a total of $4,770 by paying monthly. Invest in your future and save by registering for the complete program for $4,293, a savings of $477.

How do I register and pay?

It’s quick and easy! Once you are accepted into the program, registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Register as soon as possible to reserve your seat.

Students within Continuing and Professional Studies are not considered matriculated Rutgers University students and therefore are not eligible for Rutgers University’s financial aid.

How quickly can I earn my Public Relations Certificate?

You can complete your certificate in as little as six months. With your acceptance into the program, you will receive a Public Relations Certificate Roadmap outlining the six courses required to complete your certificate.
