March 31, Virtual Event, LISSA meeting featuring Nancy Kranich
LISSA, the Library and Information Science Student Association, is hosting a virtual meeting on March 31 at 7:30 p.m. with Nancy Kranich, Special Projects Research Librarian at Rutgers University.
Nancy, who served as President for the American Library Association from 2000-2001, will discuss opportunities to leverage your library career aspirations through participation in LIS associations. She will share the career path that led her to become ALA President, how she used early participation to leverage her career path, and how her work engagement communities transcended her ALA presidency.
Following this presentation will be a Q&A where participants can ask Nancy questions directly.
