November 16, Turning the Page: Writing for Reproductive Justice Under a New Administration

gschair

Robin Marty, Executive Director of West Alabama Women’s Center, will reflect on her path from reporter to activist during one of the most hostile periods in reproductive rights history. Marty will discuss challenges faced, mistakes made, and lessons learned when it comes to writing for positive social change. This workshop will consider how writing about reproductive rights, justice, and access can help, and not harm, those who are the most impacted – regardless of who is running the country.

Participants are welcome to bring their own writing for advice, feedback, or prompts.

Spaces are limited. Please register to reserve a spot. bit.ly/RobinMartyRU
