Veronika Maria Fischer is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Communication at Rutgers University. She holds an M.Sc. in Communication Science, specializing in Health Communication, from the University of Amsterdam. Her research explores the impact of (social) media use on health and eating behaviors, as well as the role of misinformation in shaping health-related decision-making.
