Asma Jaghman is a Ph.D. student in Media Studies. She obtained her M.A. in Arts Journalism and Communications from The Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Back home, Jaghman is a lecturer at Qatar University, where she also obtained her B.A. in Mass Communications. Jaghman is interested in studying the current landscape in the sector of Journalism in the Middle East and the impact of technology on the future of the region’s media ecosystem.
