Michael Lauer is a public relations and communications professional with more than two decades of diverse experience. He is the Founder and CEO of MDL Strategic Communications, a consultancy that develops and executes strategies to increase brand recognition and executive visibility.

During his career, Lauer has led corporate and employee communications programs for many notable brands, including Johnson & Johnson, Boston Scientific, Cigna, Deloitte, and Ford Motor Company as well as several start-up companies. He is a trusted partner sought for his ability to anticipate client needs and build programs that maximize impact.

Lauer is the Immediate Past President of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) New Jersey Chapter. Early in his career, Lauer was the spokesperson for the United States Capitol Police where he was responsible for releasing information to the media about all security-related issues on behalf of the United States Congress.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Monmouth University and is a PROSCI-certified change management professional.
