Longtime SC&I Lecturer Michael Bzdak, Ph.D., Receives the Rodney D. Chipp Memorial Award from the Society of Women Engineers

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) announced in a recent blog post that SC&I lecturer Michael Bzdak, Ph.D., is a recipient of the Rodney D. Chipp Memorial Award, one of SWE’s highest-level Apex Awards honoring individuals with 20+ years of professional experience.

Bzdak is Global Director of Employee Engagement in the office of Global Health Equity at Johnson & Johnson; he has been a visiting lecturer at Rutgers since 2003 and is a current instructor in the Master of Communication and Media program. He also serves on the Institute for Women’s Leadership at Rutgers-New Brunswick advisory board and New Jersey’s Governor’s Advisory Council on Volunteerism and Community Service. He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from Rutgers and a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University.

SC&I congratulates Bzdak on his many years of service to the school and the global community.
