The School of Communication & Information invites applications for our Interdisciplinary Ph.D. program in Communication, Information, and Media. The application deadline for the fall 2021 term is January 5, 2021, with late applications to be considered by May 1, 2021. Students requesting financial aid must apply by January 5, 2021.

Located in New Brunswick, NJ, within a 90-minute drive/train to both NYC and Philadelphia, Rutgers University provides an excellent environment for research. Our location makes us ideally suited for scholars seeking to make significant contributions to the social development of individuals by understanding the links among people, information, and technology. The school includes world-renowned faculty who are leading researchers and outstanding teachers.
