Associate Teaching Professor Joyce Valenza worked with LIS students and alumni to launch SchoolLibraryNJ, a website hosting a variety of LibGuides for students, parents, educators, administrators, and librarians to access critical resources for bridging information equity gaps.
The D.C. Health Communication Conference will focus on “Health Communication Imperatives and Contributions” and “Promoting Equity in Health Communication Research.” Seven scholars from SC&I, representing faculty, part-time faculty, and students will participate.

She is part of the Honors College and Douglass Residential College and is active in various clubs and organizations, including the Daily Targum and Rutgers Women’s Ultimate Frisbee.
