For Journalism and Media Studies seniors Camilo Montoya-Galvez and Kervy Robles, journalism is not just a career, it's a calling. Both of them have worked together on numerous stories for NBC Telemundo, and have received recognition around the industry for their hard-hitting reporting, as well as their fearless pursuit of the truth. Recently, both Robles and Montoya-Galvez shared one such experience with SC&I, after the University recognized each of them with scholarships for their impressive work.
After a 30-year career at SC&I, Professor of Communication Hartmut (Harty) Mokros will transfer to emeritus status on January 1, 2018.
Two New Jersey school librarians, one a student at SC&I, and one a SC&I alumna, were chosen by the American Library Association (ALA) as members of its 2019 Class of Emerging Leaders. SC&I congratulates Beth Raff and Stacey Shapiro '17.
