Nonprofit organizations whose employees were able to utilize their social networks in addition to traditional work-related communication were better prepared to serve vulnerable clients immediately after Hurricane Harvey in 2017, according to a recently published study in Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly.
SC&I faculty and students will present research presentations at the virtual 71st Annual International Communication Association (ICA) Conference in late May. Mostly asynchronous, the conference will also include pre-recorded sessions released on a schedule and live video chat events.
Faculty from SC&I and the School of Health Professions, with support from Rutgers Global will represent Rutgers in IAPP-Greece, an initiative that aims to promote international collaboration between U.S. and Greek institutions of higher education.
