SC&I Holds First In-Person Public Speaking Contest Since 2019

The conference is held every four years as a primary international in-person event; this was the first time it was held in the Southern Hemisphere and in the Asia-Pacific region.
SC&I graduate student Robert Obiefuna worked with a leading financial corporation in Nigeria, where he became a marketing team lead. While serving in this leadership role, he led his team to achieve their organizational market target by signing top business moguls in Nigeria, ultimately growing the branch profits by 15% and earning promotions for all team members.
Medha spent most of her career working as a software developer and being a substitute and a voluntary school language teacher before joining the Master of Communication and Media (MCM) cohort. After receiving her master’s degree in May 2023, she reflected on the program and her experiences.
SC&I faculty members Melissa Aronczyk, Lauren Feldman, Susan Keith, and Regina Marchi have been promoted to full professor, effective July 1, 2023.
