Yi Zhao is a Ph.D. student in Communication. Her research interests center around social media, new technologies, social networks, civic behaviors, and computational methods. She aims to apply survey, network analysis, and computational methods to investigate 1) the impact of digital media and emerging technologies on civic and political behaviors and 2) the dynamics of information and communication across diverse media ecosystems.
