Meredith Reese is the Senior Manager of IT Services for the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, a lecturer for digital asset management at the UCLA Graduate School of Information Studies, and a consultant in the field of digital asset management (DAM). In her current role she oversees digital asset management systems and technology projects related to improving media asset management, file management, and digital preservation best practices across the organization and the field of performing arts at-large.

Prior to joining the LA Phil in 2018, Reese helped implement successful DAM programs for Mattel and Walt Disney Studios, advocating for metadata best practices in the media & entertainment industry. Reese started her career in film and television post-production, and was Manager of Archives, Metadata, and Asset Management at HBO for nearly a decade. She holds a Master's degree from UCLA with a specialization in Moving Image Archives Studies. She serves on the editorial board of The Moving Image, a Journal for the Association of Moving Image Archivists and is active in charitable organizations in Los Angeles to eradicate childhood poverty.
