Ingstrup

Meghan Ingstrup has worked in higher education for two decades in both proprietary and public institutions, including community college, undergraduate and graduate schools. Ingstrup's various roles in higher education provided her with experiences spanning the full student lifecycle from recruitment to admissions and enrollment to graduation and alumni engagement. In 2007, she found her calling in academic advising. Ingstrup joined the Student Services Team at the School of Communication and Information in 2017. She is passionate about the transformative power of education and enjoys supporting others in finding and pursuing their own paths.

Ingstrup is active in academic advising’s leading professional association, NACADA, the Global Community for Academic Advising, currently serving a two-year term as NJ State Liaison. She regularly presents to state, regional, and national student affairs, advising, and counseling audiences on topics such as microaggressions and implicit bias, cultural competency building, LGBTQIA+ advocacy, professional ethics, and advisor wellness.
