Master of Communication and Media
Specialization: Communication and Media Studies
Graduating May 2018
Are you currently employed or participating in an internship at this time? If so, please describe.
I started working as a MCM Marketing Intern and Instructional Assistant since this fall semester. I will start my Research Assistant position during the following spring semester. During the past summer, I did an internship at Princeton Lightwave as a Digital Marketing Specialist.
How do you think the MCM program is preparing you for your chosen profession?
I think the MCM program is a platform from where I feel more confident presenting myself to other people. I built my career path from here - The program provided the chance for me to experience different specializations in the communication industry until I finally decided what I really want for my career.
In your opinion, what are the top 3 benefits of the MCM program?
- An understanding and open-minded program director who really values students’ voices.
- Lots of on campus job opportunities, with decent pay.
- Flexible with specializations and course load.
What advice would you give to graduating seniors, or those considering a graduate degree?
If you haven’t decided what you want to do in the future, this is the right place because you can experience nearly all the major specializations in the communication industry with professional guidance.
