Ben Rholdan is a Ph.D. student in Communication. He obtained his M.A degree in Management in Regional Development from the University of Taubaté (2018) working with the professionalization of young broadcasters in Brazil’s northeast countryside. The focus of his research now lies in health communication initiatives for underserved communities in the global south. His particular interest is in reaching out to those residing in communities within the Brazilian Amazon. He aims to expand his work on preventing disease by promoting the hygienic processing of food. He conducts research in English and Portuguese.
