Marissa Anema comes to Rutgers after spending almost 10 years working in a Marketing and Communications capacity for the New Jersey Credit Union League and its 501(3) non-profit, the New Jersey Credit Foundation. She began there as a Marketing Assistant, taking on more responsibilities and growing professionally during her time, eventually becoming the Vice President of Marketing and Communication of the League and the Executive Director of the Foundation. Her role in leading an award-winning statewide financial literacy initiative for NJ students brought Anema to middle schools, high schools, and college campuses, including Rutgers NB and Rutgers Camden, where her passion for education grew, piquing her interest in higher education which brought her to this role as Assistant Director of Marketing and Communication for SC&I.
